A. I’m talking about what HTML5 through the lens of Internet Explorer. I will take a look at the past, present and future and show the kinds of applications that are now possible.

Q. What will people who attend your talk learn

A. They should learn about what IE is capable of in terms of HTML5 and related technologies, and hopefully they will come away with some ideas of how they can actually use the stuff in their applications beyond just making stuff look good.

Q. What will they take away that they can apply right away

A. I cover a lot of HTML5/CSS3 technologies in my talk, pretty much everything that is supported by IE9 could be implemented straightaway. The stuff in IE9 only made it because it was ready for Primetime, well tested and was based upon a stable standard that were not going to change.

A. Take a look at the people that are speaking, it’s a great opportunity to hear a real spectrum of opinions about HTML5 and the future of the web.

Q. Why is HTML5 exciting for web developers? Architects?

A. You have more options. And with web development, the more options you have the better applications you can write.
